Christmas fun!

This Christmas, our Reception children are loving all the Christmas activities! Especially the mud kitchen, creating festive treats and exploring the outdoors. Whether they’re mixing “Christmas cakes” or pretending to cook a festive feast, the mud kitchen helps children develop creativity, language skills through role-play, and fine and gross motor skills as they stir, pour, and knead. It also encourages teamwork and sharing, as well as building social skills.

To ensure your child can join in the fun, please remember to send them with named wellie boots and a named puddlesuit so they can play comfortably and stay dry, no matter the weather. The mud kitchen is a wonderful space for learning and festive fun!
