Welcome to Term 3!
Today we had a visit from top international mega VIP: Father Christmas. He and his Elf talked to our children and gave every child a present. The Elf was making lots of jokes and the children had a great time.
We hope you have a great Christmas, it has been a really fun week in Reception. See you in the new year!
We had an amazing visit from the Royal National Lifeboat Association (RNLI) member Tomothy. He showed us all his amazing equipment and talked to us about what being an RNLI member entails. We were all surprised, and impressed, that all RNLI lifeboat crew are volunteers! It was an amazing experience and a privilege to get to meet one of our community heroes in person. At the end the children got to try on Tomothy's special equipment and clothing.
The Christmas performance was a massive success. The children all did an amazing job, not only on the day, but also during all the rehearsals we did over the previous few weeks. We hope everyone enjoyed the show!
The Christmas party was a huge success. We ate, we danced, we did Christmas activities, we watched Christmassy films and there was enough food to feed the whole school (we will have a second party/buffet this week).
Mega buffet!
