Is this your tree?

This week at Forest School we took part in an activity where we worked in pairs and one of us was blindfolded, and our partner led us to a tree in the woodland. We had to feel the tree with our hands before being led back to the entrance to the site. After taking the blindfold off, we had to trace our steps back to see if we could guess the correct tree. We had to really use our senses to help us identify the trees. We then enjoyed lots of free play where we were busy cooking in the mud kitchen, using tools and wool with sticks. We were treated to lots of lovely wintery sunshine!
