This week in Science, we have been investigating the question 'Does the length of a wire impact the brightness of a bulb?". We set up simple circuits using a bulb, two wires, crocodile clips and a battery. We then added one more wire to each side to see if the brightness of the bulb changed.

We noticed that the more wires that we added to the circuit, the dimmer the bulb became. We were then able to conclude that this was due to a smaller flow of electricity and the electricity needing to travel further around the circuit.
