Safer Internet Day

We spoke about the toys we liked to use that can link to the internet and how we can remain safe on these. It was great to hear that majority of children don't talk to strangers via games, and we shared ideas on why this was dangerous. 

A reminder that the PEGI website is a good tool to use when introducing new games to your children; it has an outline of what to expect from each game. 

Recommended ages for games/apps/websites:

Roblox 7 years old

Fortnite 12 years old

Minecraft 7 years old

Tik Tok 13 years old

Instagram 13 years old

Snapchat 13 years old

YouTube, doesn't allow children under 13 to have their own channel and recommends that children should only be using YouTube Kids after enabling strict parental controls.
