Team O'Flaherty (Yr 4)

Tomorrow is Trip day. Some Children will be going to London by coach to the Frameless Exhibition. The rest of yr 4 will have fun activities and then a trip to Under 1 Roof in Ramsgate.

FRAMELESS: If you are going to Frameless you must bring a packed lunch (if you receive a free school meal, we will provide a lunch.) You should wear school uniform but you can wear trainers. You should bring a coat and layers that you can take off if it is hot. You may also bring upto £10 of spending money but each child will be responsible for their own spending money. We are leaving school at 9am so make sure you are on time.

As you know, it is the KS2 production on 4th July and we really need your help.   The children are working incredibly hard learning all the songs for the performance and are doing a fantastic job - they really do sound great. As always how

This week, the class completed their Art to Start! We looked at buildings designed by the architect Antoni Gaudi. We studied La Sagrada Familiar and described it. We then used stencils and cardboard to make 3D pictures of a building. We used tissu

On Monday, Yr 4 will be doing their art to start. We need cardboard to create our 3D models of building based on Gaudi.

We had an amazing time at Discovery Planet last week! The children learnt how to use pulleys to build a dice rolling machine. As well as pulleys, they also had marbles, toy cars, and tubes to create a machine that uses the domino effect.

As part of our topic on sound, we have been learning how sound travels, how our ear works and also experimenting with soundproof materials! This week we will be making sweet, sweet music by designing and then making our very own musical instrument
