Term 3 Update (Team Millidine)

What a fantastic first term it has been for Team Millidine! We’ve loved diving into the mysteries of the Stone Age, especially during our exciting Stone Age Day. The children had a splendid time creating their own cave art, which really ignited their creativity!

In English, we’ve been busy perfecting our writing skills through diary entries and crafting our very own newspapers. It’s been wonderful to see their imaginations come alive on paper. We have also thoroughly enjoyed the thrilling adventures of the Iron Man, which sparked some fantastic discussions among the class. Our library trip was a highlight, allowing the children to explore a range of different books. Over half term please see how many different types of text you can read....signposts, magazines, subtitles, menus....! Children also have a sheet of spellings to practise. 

In Maths, we tackled multiplication and division, and I’m so impressed with everyone’s progress! I've handed out lots of times table badges this term! Remember to keep practising at home using TTRS and Doodle. (Your childs doodle account details are stuck into their reading records).

As we wrap up this term, I’m eagerly looking forward to another exciting term with Team Millidine, where more adventures await us! Have a lovely holiday! Miss Millidine
