Afro-Bhangra Workshop
What a fabulous workshop!
Year 2 had their first workshop of the week this afternoon. We were visited by Lucky who led our session on how to play Afro-Bhangra drums! This unique drumming and dancing collective fused the traditional Dhol drum from North India and the Djembe drum from West Africa. After the drumming session, we asked Lucky some questions about the drums and even danced to them too!
