We have been studying the work of Sonia Boyce and did some self-portraits in her style.
Sonia Boyce is a British-born black artist. During the 1980s, she was linked to the British Black arts movement and lots of her work is linked to her Caribbean heritage. We also talked about the interesting backgrounds she uses in her work so decided to incorporate this into our own pieces of art. Ask us about our background and what they represent!
