Today, Year 2 explored how an author carefully chooses vocabulary to build the narrative, draw our attention and create imagery. We matched illustrations to phrases from the text, identifying our adjectives, nouns and adverbs with our talk partners to build our understanding of specific use of language! Well done indeed!
