What we have been up to in Science this week!
This week, we have been investigating how friction differs on various surfaces.
We tested rolling a marble down a small ramp, across different surfaces, and measured how far it went.
Can you remember which surface caused the most friction on the marble? (shortest distance)
Can you remember which surface caused the least friction on the marble? (longest distance)
Why did this happen? What causes a surface to have less friction?
The children loved this experiment! We look forward to other science experiments this term.
