Forest School this week....

What a beautiful day to be out in the woodland and today we got to use tools. First, we learnt about how to keep safe when using tools, then we had a go at using a peeler to whittle a stick. This is a great opportunity to develop our confidence, problem-solving, perseverance and physical skills. It was lovely to see the sense of accomplishment and pride after using the tools. 

There will be no forest school next week, 20th May. Team Welvens' last forest school session will be the first Monday back after half-term, 3rd June. Team Cole will then be going to forest school June 10th onwards.
