Last Two Days!

MONDAY:

On Monday, we have our Leavers' Event in the evening. This will include some short speeches, a few performances and the handing out of a small gift and some awards. The event will take place between 6pm and 7pm, so if children could be back at school at 5:45pm, so we can get them seated, before doors open for parents at 5:55pm.

In order to set up the hall and organise it, there will be no arts curriculum and children need to be collected at 2pm on Monday.

After the event, there will be an opportunity for photos before we ask parents to leave. Pupils will then head to the staff room to partake in pizza and drinks before playing team hide and seek in the 'deserted' school building.

In the past, pupils have wanted to wear smart clothes for the ceremony and then bring more suitable, comfortable clothing to change into for the hide and seek. I would recommend this for tomorrow as well.

Please ensure an adult is available to collect the children from the main entrance at 10pm on Monday evening. Children will not be allowed to walk home by themselves at this hour (even if they have a Green Pass).

TUESDAY:

For their last day at RAPS, the children have a Rock Steady concert and shirt signing. Children MUST have a change of shirt for the shirt signing or they will not be able to participate. 

At 2pm, the children from the rest of the school will form an arch of honour and Year 6 will exit through the front / main entrance. Again, please ensure someone is there to meet them.

Finally, as always, we want these last days to be both memorable and enjoyable; however participation in the evening Hide & Seek, as well as the shirt signing on Tuesday are dependent upon good behaviour and making the right choices. We do not want to take these away from any child, but neither will we allow them to be ruined for the rest of the class.
