Let's Celebrate!

This week in Team Spurrier we have been celebrating our similarities and differences. We spoke about the things we loved about ourselves and our partner. We really enjoyed celebrating how our differences make us special, unique and how they help to create a diverse learning environment as we can all learn from each other. Later in the week we started learning about different celebrations. What do we celebrate throughout the year and why? We then thought we would focus on birthdays as we all have one. Why do we have one? What is it for? Who has one? How do you celebrate? Do we all have the same one? How often do we have one? This raised so many questions and we loved sharing when our birthdays are and what we do on them. We learnt the months of the year and tried really hard to remember what month our birthday is, please help us with this at home. We then took part in lots of fun activities which ranged from birthday party role play to wrapping presents to designing our next cake. We have had so many fantastic discussions this week and it was lovely to see how amazing our class is.
