Multiplication

Last week Team Aitken were introduced to multiplication for the first time this year and they smashed it! We started off by understanding how to make equal groups and representing these as repeated addition. Then we quickly grasped  how to use the X symbol. Some of us even managed tricky missing number multiplication problems! Well done! Ask us to double a small number of objects!
