Here are your challenges for home learning today:
Maths: Counting backwards from 20

Challenge: Count actions or objects that can’t be moved. E.g. star jumps, claps, stomps, dots on a page, teddies etc. Can you write down which action you managed to do the most for in 20 seconds?
RWI : Here is today's sound for each group.

Sentence: I can wink.

Spelling: cat.
Mrs Barnes’ group- ee- what can you see
Words for spelling: see, tree, bee
Sentence: I can see a bee in the tree.
Miss Merry’s group- ee- What can you see
Words for spelling: see, tree, bee
Sentence: I can see a bee in the tree.
Please record in yellow book. -Two lines of handwriting of the sound with finger spaces, three spellings with the sound in and record the sentence with a capital letter and full stop. I have attached a photo of how you may want to lay the home learning out in your yellow book.

Topic:Fairytales focus: Can you remember what the features of a fairytale are? What fairytale did you learn about yesterday? Can you remember the themes, key characters and what happened?
Focus: Little red riding hood. Predicting- what might happen next? Is it similar or different to yesterday's story? How?

Questions from parents: how can I access more reading at home? Oxford owl (read write inc) have released lots of online reading books for you to access at home. They are adding more daily so keep an eye out. Reading is super important so please read as much as you can. Here is the link for the website:

These will be available for 24 hours after going live and repeated daily. Great practice for the sounds we have taught in schoool.
