Welcome back to home learning!
Welcome back Team Spurrier,
I hope you have a lovely, relaxed Easter break with your families at home. It looks like you have all had a great time relaxing, baking, making craft activities and much more. Thank you for all of your lovely emails, posts on the Padlet and entries into Mr Budge’s Easter competition. I have submitted the winners so watch this space…

RWI will be starting up their live lessons on their You tube channel on Monday 20th April too. They have added some green word lessons and spelling lessons too.
Topic: Theme- Growth
Main: This term we will be learning all about growing. As your love to learn you were asked to grow a plant. Usually on the first day back to school we would all share what happened, what we did, how long it took to grow, how we looked after it. Were there any challenges or things you found difficult.
Challenge: Update your love to learn book with a diary entry all about your project. Can you share some photos with us on the Padlet? Or even a video of how you have been looking after your plant and what it looks like now?
I hope you have a great day of learning. Don’t forget to check out the Padlet and post some funny things to your friends. https://padlet.com/sophiespurrier/1eutxevhwdgp It has been great fun so far. Please remember to put your name in the comments and on your post as they all show up as ‘anonymous’. It is very secure as I have to approve all posts and comments that come through. PADLET NOW HAS A PASSWORD: rapshome
I have also attached some useful links of some of the things you might want to do throughout the day such as Joe Wicks P.E etc.
Make sure you are reading daily as this is so important at this stage in Reception. You have access to reading materials in the EYFS file, Bug Club and phonics hero. Please email if you have forgotten the log in details. These are great for games, books, new sounds and so much more.
Remember, we are all in this together. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself to home school your child in this strange and uncertain time. If it doesn’t work out today then please do not worry, there is always tomorrow.
Please send any photos/videos and questions to: sophie.spurrier@ramsgateartsprimaryschool.co.uk
There are still some members of the class that I have not heard from. Please could you all reach out to your class mates to check in with them and ensure they're well and staying safe.
I cannot wait to see what you get up to today.
Happy Learning Team Spurrier!
