Good morning everyone. There was some great learning sent to me yesterday. Big shout outs to Aaron, Charlie N, Sandra and Neve for sharing what they have been up to. I'm in school again today, so I will attempt to answer any emails that come through. Maybe I might see Archie or Kingsley as they are in some days.

Maths: Today we are moving to Summer Term, Week 2, Monday, Lesson 1 - Adding decimals with the same number of decimal places

As usual watch the video lesson and then do the activities provided. Hopefully you are getting on well with this new way of doing Maths. I like the way it tests your knowledge and understanding in different ways. Those of you who have been sending over your work to me are doing really well.

Reading/English: I am attaching quite a few pages today, chapters 2 and 3. I would like you to think about the following questions and make notes.

1. What more have we learned about Bradley?

2. Has this changed your opinion of him?

3. Where is this story set? What words in the text give you clues about this?

Tomorrow we will write in role as a character, inferring their thoughts and feelings. Your notes from today about Bradley will help you.

We know that that different living things have different life cycles. Birds comes from eggs, whereas mammals are born live.  Have a look at this clip about the life cycle of a reptile.

In what ways are the life cycles of reptiles similar and different to that of birds, mammals and insects?

Make quick sketches of life cycles of each animal group (you have already done birds). 

Now, imagine you are a naturalist (like David Attenborough or Jane Goodall) to role play explaining the differences between life cycles in different animals. Maybe you could video this for our Padlet page or psend over a picture.
