Reading: There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom chapters 15 & 16
1. How does Bradley’s mother react to the fight?
2. Who does Bradley blame the fight on?
3. Why, do you think, does Bradley not say who else was involved in the fight?
4. How, do you think, does Bradley feel going to school the next morning?
5. Does anything surprise you about Bradley’s behaviour towards Jeff? Explain your answer.
English: After reading today's chapters I need you to give a bit of help. Jeff has written an email to his friends int his old school in Washington asking for advice on how to deal with the situation he has found himself in. The email is attached below. I want you to read it carefully and think what advice you would give to Jeff. Then I would like you to write an email back to Jeff detailing how you think he should deal with his problems.
Topic: Right now we are in an unusual time. We are not sure yet when we will all be able to go back to school and some of us may worry that everyone around us will be able to stay safe. Scientists are working had everyday trying to find medicines for all sorts of illnesses and diseases.
A company called Pfizer researches and makes a lot of medicines. They have just put up some free learning resources about their work. Today I would like you to follow the link to their website and have an explore of the 'Medicine and Me' section. There are several slides and videos to watch.
If you would like to learn more, then to to their 'From Molecule to Medicine' section. This is designed for children in Key Stage 3, but I know that some of you may well find it interesting.
