Once you have gone through the pages where Christophe tells how he came to England, I would like you to try and do what Miss Finch asked her class to do on p63. I would like you to think of a story about yourself. As it states in the text, it could be about a pet, a sibling or something that has happened to you. Today I want you to write it down, then re-read it and think about editing and improving it. Could you add more detail or description, for example? Tomorrow I will be asking you to read your story as a performance, using your voice, face and hands, as Christophe did.
