Values Week

This year, values week will include PSHE, politics and a debate. This term, our core value is aspiration so we talked about our hopes and dreams for the future and how we could achieve these including barriers we may have to overcome. 

We also talked about how the food we eat can affect the environment, the role of a politician and how democracy is different in different countries. 

We also discussed when/how we should challenge anti social behaviour. The children acted out role plays of situations it would be safe to do so and the best way to do this. (See photos)

Finally, on Friday, we debated whether animals should be kept in zoos and the children passionately debated their ideas and opinions in a grown up and mature manner!
