Punch and Judy
People in the past
We have been talking about what people used to enjoy at the beach in the past. We looked at how they dressed, where they got changed and even saw some children riding on donkeys! We also then had a look at what is the same on our beaches. One thing that is the same is we still have Punch and Judy shows (197 years on). The children found it hilarious watching each character and enjoyed joining in with shouting "Judy, Judy, Judy". We then decided it would be a great idea to make our very own Punch and Judy show on the stage. The children all joined in with making puppets, designing and using materials to make the stand, making tickets and welcome signs. It wasn't only the children that enjoyed getting stuck into this activity. The adults did too.
