Art to Start

Our inspiration for Term 2’s Art to Start was Andy Goldsworthy! We now know Andy makes sculptures using natural materials in UK and around the world including in forests, fields or cities. We talked about our favourite pieces and why we preferred them, before leaving the classroom and trying to be like Andy Goldsworthy ourselves! Outside, we used natural materials such as stones, conkers, sticks and leaves to create our own sculptures. Our sculptures included a classroom, clock, flowers and spirals!
