Rangoli Patterns

This week in RE we have learnt all about the festival of Diwali and how it came to be.

Today, we learnt about the relevance of rangoli patterns during Diwali. We know they are beautiful, vibrant patterns made out of sand, rice, flowers or coloured powders, and are used by Hindus to welcome the goddess, Lakshmi, and ward off evil spirits. We had a go at creating our own rangoli patterns!
