Reading for Pleasure

Reading for pleasure is really important to develop children as readers. In this session, children get half an hour to get sucked into a book of their choice. They are encouraged to choose a book based on what they are interested in, the genre they like or by reading the blurb. This helps them to develop their reader identity, encouraging them to become readers for life.
