Wonder-ful acting

This week we have further explored empathy and kindness as we have begun reading our book for this term - Wonder by R.J. Palacio. 

Team Pressley seem to be enjoying this one so far and have impressed us with their ability to highlight and pick out key pieces of information in the text. 

On Wednesday, the class were acting in character during our reading lesson. The role-play revolved around the main character being shown around a new school by some of his classmates (ask team Pressley what these children are like). 

Tierney, Noah, Tommy, Esme and Penny were a brilliant example of introducing an extra character who was not in this part of the story and both Sophie and Annie were great at showing off their American accents. 

Freddie, Juno, Eva NB and Willow were also fantastic as the first group to stand up and show off their character skills.
