This term's topic is 'Living Alive' and, as always, we kicked it off with a piece of artwork that links with the themes we will cover...
Although it began the week before, we only just finished the pieces of art this week, as they needed time to dry! The pupils used marbling inks to create the effect of bacteria growing inside a petri dish.
This links with the learning in class, where we have begun an experiment to see which conditions best-support the growth of mould on bread - placing slices of bread in various locations around the classroom (and wider school).
