Show and Tell

We tend to do show and tell whenever something appropriate comes in. A good show and tell object is something the children are proud of; a certificate from an extra-curricular club, something they have found/read that links to our current learning or, if it is their birthday, a present they have received.

I think I'm going to have to start being firmer with saying no when a child brings in a toy from home as show and tell. We cannot have toys from home in school, it causes far too much upset if they get lost or broken and there are always quarrels about who owns what.
