Can I Share My Views?

Today in Reception, we explored the idea of sharing opinions. We discussed how everyone can have different views and that it's okay to think differently.

To bring this to life, we set up a book voting station where each child voted for their preferred book to be read at the end of the day. We emphasised fairness, explaining that each child could only vote once.

We also talked about resilience, encouraging children to understand that if their book wasn’t chosen, it’s okay – it might be another day. This activity helped develop their social skills and understanding of fairness.
