What is it?!

We began a new story in our English / Oracy lessons this week. 'I want my hat back' by Jon Klasson. Before we read the story, we looked at an object that features heavily in it and asked ourselves, what is this red cone used for?! We then took it in turns to use our imaginations and infer what the use of this object was. Some said it was for eating chips out of, some said it was a rhino horn, others said it was an ice cream!
