Maths: grouping
Learning how to make equal groups.
Today, Year 2 started to explore division and how to use grouping to solve problems! We thought about what the division symbol means and about what division sentences represent – sharing equally! Then, we had a go at working out some division questions with our talk partners using counters and our steps! Grouping is much easier than we thought and we had lots of fun!
