  • Art to Start

    Published 27/06/24, by Admin

For our Art to Start this term, we took inspiration from Antoni Gaudí. He pioneered a technique called 'trencar' (equivalent for “to break” in Catalan), creating mosaic forms and shapes by putting together broken ceramic tiles, plates and cups. We made lizards like his in Parc Güell using different coloured card and shiny materials.

As a last push before the MTC next week, there is a battle between Team Chamberlain and Team Cialis on TTRS for children to practise their times tables ready for next week. This will run from today until Monday.

We have been so impressed with all the children's hard work. They have loved seeing their scores improve, so keep practising and keep learning those tables!

  • A message from Mr Budge

    Published 21/05/24, by Admin

The benefits of the children going outside are huge. It...

    • improves mood.
    • reduces feelings of anxiety.
    • helps them take time out and feel more relaxed.
    • improve their physical health.
    • improve their confidence and self-esteem.
    • helps them become more active.
    • helps build relationships with other children through play.

With the changeable warmer weather, the children will go outside as much as possible at break and lunchtimes. Please make sure that your child is prepared with the correct clothing, whatever the weather.

'There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing.'
